We need the default to be good. By which I mean intentional. Nature.
If it’s made with AI, it must say “Made with AI,” so that we don’t have to constantly be checking everywhere and everyone doesn’t have to obsessively say, “I made this WITHOUT AI.” No, if you’re going to change the default, put a disclaimer. Same for GMOs. If it contains weird artificial gene pairings, then it should say, “Made with Genetically Modified Ingredients.” Or, “Made with lots of toxic pesticides.” And everything that DOESN’T have such a disclaimer can be assumed to be safe to eat, food that won’t kill you or the planet. Not “organic” or “fair trade.” We need to be marking everything that ISN’T fair trade as “Not Fair Trade.” Or “Slave Labor Involved.”
Enough with these blandishments! We should not convince people that our stuff is so good. We should merely have to be clean about being dirty.
When we add crap, we should fess up and say “We add crap.” Caveat emptor.
We pretend that AI started blandishing our prose out of the blue? No! This is a century of public relations, plastic relations, slick corporate crap that lies through a smile. We’ve trained our AI on Deloitte and Goldman Sachs reports. What do we expect?
